“No, that’s okay! I probably really embarrassed you over something..” Cana had a habit of doing that, but it was only her teasing nature. “Reading a lot..? Books, or something?”
Hanako raised her head and gave a shy nod. “I… like to read b-books… they help put my mind at ease…” She used her hand to make sure that her hair was covering most of the left side of her face, very self consciously about it.

“Hey Hanako!” Wow, it really had been ages since Cana had seen the purple-haired female around. “How have you been? I haven’t seen you around in forever!”
“H-hello Cana…-san.” She bowed her head to the brunette. “I-I’m sorry for my abrupt… departure last time… I’ve just been… reading a lot…”
“He’s cute, a real catch!” she teased again, with another wink. Her teasing personality was normal, and seeing Hanako flush from Cana’s words made her happy for some reason.
But then things shifted, and Cana’s ever growing smile turned into one of a small frown. It was sad to hear Hanako say that, and she wanted to do anything to cheer her up.
“And why do you think that?” Cana wanted to hug her at least, but she wasn’t sure on how Hanako would take to that gesture. “Hanako, you’re a real beautiful girl, with a nice heart, and if it turns out he doesn’t like you that way; well that’s his loss.”
Hanako didn’t know how to react the Cana’s teasing tone so she just blushed and tried not to make any eye contact. “Y-yeah… t-thanks…” Hanako bit her lip and her eyes darted around the room as she became increasingly nervous about the situation. This wasn’t good, panic was beginning to set in and her eyes darted around like a scared rabbit.
The events following couldn’t be stopped by either of them, it was just how Hanako was when faced with extreme social pressure. “I-I…I’ve got to go do something…” Quickly she picked up her bag and bolted for the exit, just wanting to get herself out of this situation.
Sting realized it was a pretty good choice of him to take her to a place more quiet then the usual places he visits. ” Mhm, it really is ” he nods and smiles a little, he walks over the the fountain and sits on the edge. It was quite relaxing, and one thing was for sure Sting loved to relax. ” Ahh, quite relaxing isn’t it? ” He then heard something and looked to his right, baby ducks.
Hanako jumped a little bit as Sting spoke, almost forgetting he was there too. “Y-Yeah… it is…” She smiled softly at him as she relaxed once again. A noise caught her ear and she turned to see Sting looking at some baby ducks which had just hopped into the fountain.
A shy smile came across her face and Hanako walked over near the ducks and knelt down at the side of the fountain. They were cute little things and she couldn’t help but watch them intently. Her smile turned to a sad expression though as she realized the ducks seemed to be alone. In a small voice she spoke quietly to them. “Where are your parents?”

“A-ah! I-It’s not like…” Her face was completely red now as she tried to hide it behind her hands. “It’s not like… I-I…l-like him…or a-anything…” Hanako continued to hide her face, looking down and away from Cana. She was too embarrassed to meet Cana’s gaze.
“I-I’m too… shy… and quiet… and…” Hanako trailed off, unwilling to talk about how a good portion of her body was scarred up and how she was very self conscious of it.
” That so? ” He questioned while he continued walking. ” Well it’s always better to know the place you’re visiting, even though you would be there for a short period of time ” He started laughing. ” Or you’ll get lost like I did when I first got here ”
Knowing her shy nature by now, Sting knew it wouldn’t be a good idea to take her to a very very busy place so he decided to show her the castle since it’s a quiet place most of the time, and quite beautiful aswell. ” And here we arrived at Mecurius ” He says while pointing at the castle that’s surrounded by flowers and a fountain.
Hanako just silently nodded as they walked and he talked. Her eyes darted around, looking at all the establishments they passed by while taking note of some landmarks to try and remember her own way around the city.
As they arrived at the castle, she looked around at the various things there. The castle was huge compared to anything Hanako had visited before but what caught her eye was the fountain. Something about the sound of the running water relaxed her enough for her to calm down a bit from her nervous state. “I-It’s… beautiful…” Hanako said absentmindedly to herself, forgetting Sting’s presence for a brief moment.
